Advocacy Manager
With 18 years of experience as advocacy manager for leading SEN specialists, I feel I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to clients. Since the company’s inception, I helped countless families navigate the complexities of the SEN system, always with a focus on compassion and understanding, something I will continue to do in my new position at SEN Advocacy Services. Before working in the SEN field, I honed skills in a large corporate law firm, where attention to detail were central to the role. This background has proven invaluable in providing clear guidance to families. As the mother of a son with SEN, I feel I bring a deeply personal understanding of the struggles and triumphs families experience. This unique perspective means I am dedicated to offering practical, affordable, and supportive services to parents/carers throughout their journey.

With over 30 years of experience in education and children’s services, I am a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) advocate and First-tier Tribunal expert, committed to ensuring that every child receives the support they are entitled to. My journey began as a teacher and SENCo, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with additional needs and their families. I went on to work within several London Local Authorities, holding key interim positions and managing Special Educational Needs Statutory Assessment Teams. I have also run my own successful SEN consultancy and advocacy business for over 15 years. These roles have given me invaluable insight and legal knowledge into the inner workings of the system, which I now use to support parents in navigating complex processes and securing the right educational outcomes for their children. I specialise in SEN Tribunals and have successfully supported numerous families through appeals — championing their rights, challenging decisions, and helping them access the provisions their child needs to thrive. Advocacy is not just my profession; it is my passion. I believe that no parent should have to fight alone, and every child deserves an education that meets their unique needs.
